I have just under 300 right now. I am finishing off a room in my basement and am building a "custom" display case. It will be 4 feet square. I can only imagine trying to display 8,000 of them.
: You would need more than 1,000 but probably not more than 2,000. Guinness only counts "unique" glasses, and the "world record" collection has about 8,000 unique glasses but over 14,000 total
