Found an old shot glass

Found this old shot glass on a construction site in an old part of Reno, NV. It has been "sun-purpled", so it has a purple tint and no markings except one. Two dashes, like two tally marks on the bottom. It just seems old to me, smaller than any shot glasses used in casinos these days. Any ideas on age?
